Whitewater kayaking isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions the Argentinian desert, but believe me San Juan is a freestyle kayaker’s paradise.

The 2017 ICF Freestyle Kayak World Championships took place downstream of the Ullum Dam on the San Juan river, where the San Juan kayak club built one of the best man-made freestyle waves on the planet.
