2014 King of the Motos
"One of the most diverse motorcycle survival races in the world."
Set in Johnson Valley, CA on a 160 mile course, the two-stage format involves riders racing across fast desert sections then slowing to navigate technical, near-impossiblew rock sections, all by way of GPS navigation with limited markings.
Since 2012, Corner Wave Media has been hired to produce a live brodcast to the web for King of the Motos.
- 80+ riders at the start line anticipating the flag-drop, aerial shot: CHECK!
- Nearly ? of the competitors not finishing the race
- Motos at full-throttle, spitting rocks and dirt shot 300 frames/second
- Camera 1 getting soaked in champagne under the podium
